Harris Associates provided Preconstruction and General Contracting Services for the complete renovation of the existing Craft & Community Bar at Virgin Hotels. Value Analysis was provided throughout the Design and Preconstruction process to meet the owner’s desired budget while maintaining the design integrity required by the Tenant. Harris worked with Bishop Pass interior designers and multiple high-end and exotic finishes. Harris Associates worked with Bishop Pass and the Tenant to source materials that met ASTM and local jurisdictional code requirements. We also had to overcome additional logistical challenges including:

• Installation of a singular 4,500 lbs. remote refrigeration rack on top of a walk-in cooler to service 4 bars and associated frozen drink machines.
• Load In of structural steel for new building facades and patio thru finished areas due to limited back of house access.
• Removing and replacing existing underground cast iron plumbing that had deteriorated after 20+ years and multiple tenant remodels.
• Supply chain issues for FF&E, OS&E and other various OFCI/CFCI installed foreign materials.
